West Windsor Community Farmers Market May and June Calendar of Events

The West Windsor Community Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 9am to 1pm through to October 28th (rain or shine!). The Market hosts 15 farms and 13 artisan food and natural product vendors in their 2012 line up. ·      SPECIAL EVENTS:

10am-12pm-West Windsor Library Story Time and Kids Crafts. On May 19th,the  childrens’ librarian from the West  Windsor branch,  Dragana Drobnjack,  will be presenting  a story time for children ages 3-8 at 10:15am and 11:15am. She will be reading the book, Growing Vegetable Soup by Lois Ehlert.   There will also be a craft for children to do, using oil pastels on paper, drawing vegetables they have seen at the market that morning.  We ask that parents please bring a small blanket for your child to sit on while listening and enjoying the story.

MAY 21:

·      MUSIC: Mid Life Crisis

·      COOKING DEMO, 10am: Palmer Uhl and Gina Kervan graduated from The Natural Kitchen Cooking School in May of last year. Inspired by their interest in nutrition they both enrolled in and have recently graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  On Saturday they will prepare grilled asparagus with sea salt and lemon.
