Join the Hunt for a $2,000 Grand Prize in
Princeton Shopping Center’s Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt Culminates in “Pirate Day” on September 17 with
strolling pirates, a kid-friendly treasure hunt and prizes,
a children’s costume contest, and more!
Princeton, NJ – Princeton Shopping Center invites shoppers to join them on an all-new Treasure Hunt in search of a grand prize, a treasure chest filled with more than $2,000 worth of merchandise and gift cards from Princeton Shopping Center merchants. Shoppers can pick up treasure maps at any of 20 participating stores in the Center starting September 1, and must complete and return their maps by September 17 to be eligible for the Grand Prize raffle.
“At Princeton Shopping Center, we try to offer our shoppers great deals and great products right in their backyards,” says Chris Hanington, General Manager of Princeton Shopping Center. “But we also try to provide some good, family fun – what could be more fun than a Treasure Hunt with a real-live treasure?”
Starting September 1, shoppers 18 years of age and older can visit any of the following participating stores to pick up a Treasure Map: Fred Astaire Dance Studio; Incredible Me!; Image Arts; Jordan’s Cards and Gifts; Learning Express; The Lighting Gallery; Main Street Bistro; Marlowe’s Jewelry; McCaffrey’s; One of a Kind Consignment; Princeton Bath and Kitchen; Princeton Optometric Physicians; Quiznos; Smith’s Ace Hardware; Smith’s Ace Housewares; and Ten Thousand Villages.
At any time between September 1 and September 17, shoppers will follow the clues on the treasure map leading them to each participating location. As shoppers visit each of the 20 stores, they will receive a sticker to place on their maps. In addition, all participating stores are offering a special coupon for shoppers with treasure maps. However, no purchases are necessary to participate in the Treasure Hunt.
To be eligible for the Grand Prize, shoppers must complete and return their treasure maps to any of the participating stores by 12 Noon on Saturday, September 17, which is also International Talk Like a Pirate Day (really!)
“The Treasure Hunt promotion ends on September 17 when shoppers can come meet our crew of pirates during our Pirate Day celebration from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.,” says Hanington. “There will be pirate music from a ‘band’ of pirates, pirates with parrots, a costume contest for children who come dressed in pirate or damsel costumes, pirate crafts and activities, and a special treasure hunt just for the children.”
During the Pirate event on September 17, McCaffrey’s is building a pirate ship made entirely of Pirate’s Booty snacks. Several other stores will be offering various pirate-related activities and promotions as well.
