The November Ornament of the month is here...and also December if you're so inclined! Both ornaments are from Associated Talents. I figured the last thing anyone was going to remember to do in December would be to get their ornament so both are available now.
They are both small and manageable...seemed like a good idea for late November!

Please don't forget our collection for Campus Ministry Food Bank. Until January we will be collecting toiletries and personal care products here at the store. As you are making your shopping rounds if you could add an extra shampoo or powder to your cart it could be a big help to our immediate neighbors in need. If everybody brought one item we would be bringing the haul to them in a wheelbarrow!
This has always been a very generous community in time of crisis, the response to Haiti was remarkable. Poverty in our area is more like termites in the basement than a wolf at the door but the need is so grave right now.

Next week we'll start with a list of quick knit Christmas projects but I'll tease with one I'm working on now. I just started these fingerless mitts at the suggestion of our friend Martha and they are quick (one glove per night) with an ingenious method for attaching the thumb. Click on the picture for the free downloadable pattern. They use one skein of sock yarn held double and a set of size 5 double points. The perfect thing for all those texters in your life!
