The first save the date is tonight for anyone who wants to work on their mitered crosses afghan! Join Martha and me to check on every one's progress, work out the kinks or learn the technique if you missed the class.

Second save the date is for this coming Tuesday, February 7th. Join us in the store from 6-8 for a glass of wine, a bit of chocolate and a remarkable trunk show. Beginning Tuesday, and running for two weeks we will have a trunk show from Christel Seyfarth of RYN Yarns containing both garments to try on and kits available to purchase. Click on the link to the right to go to the website which doesn't BEGIN to show how remarkable these garments are. This was my very favorite find at the trade show last June and I'm very excited to share it with all of you!

The Birds of a Feather Trunk Show is here! This is one of my favorites--lots of bright colors, fun novel designs--they have a very personal and delightful style. We have moved the Paternayan into the window in it's boxes at 50% off which is good timing for this show. Many of these canvases use LOTS of colors so it's a good opportunity to take advantage of the end of the Paternayan run at a great price.

That was a HUGE project but FINALLY the Paternayan is on it's way out and the Vineyard Merino is here to take it's place. It's gorgeous stuff and works on 13, 14 or 18 mesh. We've set up a display on the table so you can sample stitching with it. Meanwhile the wall looks gorgeous!

We've added some new needles to our knitting needle assortment! We're now carrying Knitters Pride Double Pointed needles. They are made from densified laminated Birch wood which is harder than Rosewood or Ebony. They are super smooth and keep a very fine point. They are also color coded...one color per size...brilliance! We've put one set out to sample--I'm a big fan!
Puxatawny Phil saw his shadow this morning so it appears we have six more weeks of winter coming...or may that just means we have SOME winter coming!
Be well,
Fondly,
Kathleen
